Did you just upgraded your Nexus 5 operating system from 4.4 to 4.4.1 with official KOT49E KitKat Firmware ? Then you must be searching on how to root it. If you have previously rooted your Nexus 5 on 4.4 firmware and then upgraded the OS, then by now your root permission is lost because the SU binary was evacuated from your unit while upgrading and you have to do it all again.
